great little restaurant right down the block it's been there for 25 years. Karen the owner is a real sweetheart and always has specials for lunch and supper that are definitely worth your consideration. I've eaten there hundreds of times and those 25 years and I never had a bad meal or a bad experience. very pleasant atmosphere and a quiet space where you can have a conversation. Fair prices but caution; cash only.

Panes brings tremendous flavors to the table. I have been coming to this spot for sometime now, always trying something new. NEVER DISAPPOINTING. Super friendly and honest staff, in a very cozy warm setting. It is a must stop for anyone looking to grab a bite around the area.

Nice, small, quaint restaurant, in a nice neighborhood! Prices are reasonable, and the quality and quantity of food are reasonable as well. However, the place isn't handicap accessible!

We live on the same block as Panes and honestly the only bad thing about this is that we never leave our block! Great prices, great food, and great variety - truly something for everybody. If you have a late night sweet tooth, don't walk by with cash in your pocket, you can't resist!
